Cycle Description
Join the Salsa On2 Cycle 2! This cycle will help students embrace their full potential and also help them gain confidence in their dancing!
The Salsa On2 Level 2 Cycle is designed for people who have mastered their timing and moves from Salsa On2 Cycle 1.
This 2-month-long cycle focuses on getting you to the social dance floor. The Salsa footwork steps become more complex with syncopations and faster rhythms. The partnerwork also becomes more complex as we combine the turns from Salsa cycle 1 and Salsa cycle 2.
This cycle includes UNLIMITED classes for the following:
• Group Level 1 Classes (Salsa and Bachata)
• Salsa Level 2 Class
• Beginner Salsa Ladies Styling class
• Beginner Bachata Ladies Styling class
• Intermediate Salsa Ladies class
Salsa Cycle 2 includes:
• Must have passed Salsa Cycle 1 to join Salsa Cycle 2
• Execution and Speed
• Turn Combination (Left, Right, Right Hook, Half Right/Half Left, Full [Axel] Right, Full [Axel] Left, Sharp, Double Sharp)
• 180’s
• Point Turns with cross-body lead and reverse cross-body lead.
Additional Cycle Information
• Cycle memberships are $95 a month.
• Students may add a second cycle for $55 per person.
• Students must enroll in the Melómano app to secure their place that day in cycle class.
• Cycles are 2 months long.
• Each cycle has a set syllabus which includes footwork and partner work.
• Each cycle will have clear learning objectives and goals.
• Each cycle becomes more complex as it builds on the previous level.
• Students can join a cycle of their level at any time or message Melómano at 619-675-8602 to see when the next cycle starts.
• Cycle Cancelation Policy: To pause or cancel a cycle membership, please contact Diana Trigo at 619-675-8602 before the first day of the month.
• Higher-level cycles require instructor approval. If students would like to move to a higher-level Cycle, they need to attend the Cycle Kick Off Event to be evaluated. Students may also be evaluated throughout the cycle but need to make their cycle instructors aware of this to be evaluated.
Due to limited class sizes, students must enroll in the Melómano app to secure their place. Students must also cancel at least 6 hours in advance of start time to avoid losing the credit. No exceptions. All cycle classes are 50 minutes long.
Unlocking Additional Classes
Higher-level Classes require instructor approval. Students may be eligible to unlock or access additional higher-level classes while attending their current cycle. Students need to alert their current instructor of their desire to move to a higher level. The class instructor will assess the student and determine their appropriate level. Alternatively, students may contact Melómano at 619-675-8602 to inquire how to test into other levels. Please state your full name, current class level, instructor, and desired level when texting or calling.
